13th Stakeholder Advisory Committee Meeting
The Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) held its 13th meeting on 17-19 July 2018 in Pangkalan Kerinci, in Riau, Indonesia. The SAC oversees the implementation of APRIL’s Sustainable Forest Management Policy. The meeting report is available for viewing and download here.
The SAC also held discussions in Pekanbaru on 16 July with stakeholders, including local non-governmental organizations, government representatives, academics and the private sector and APRIL suppliers. The purpose of the meetings was to receive advice and comments from stakeholders regarding the preliminary findings of the 2018 SFMP 2.0 assurance process.
