Public Consultation for SFMP 2.0 Indicators
Call for consultation on the Sustainable Forest Management Policy 2.0 set of indicators from the Stakeholder Advisory Committee.
Dear colleagues,
Recognizing that transparency and stakeholder inputs are key to effective, independent verification of APRIL’s performance against its Sustainable Forest Management Policy 2.0, the Stakeholder Advisory Committee continues to organize stakeholder forums and consultations with relevant stakeholders.
Prior to our 11th meeting in Pangkalan Kerinci, the SAC organized a forum in Pekanbaru on 12 September 2017 on the draft set of indicators for the 2018 full audit of APRIL’s implementation of its policy. The SAC sincerely thanks those who participated and shared their valuable inputs which will be considered.
In addition to this forum, the SAC wishes to broaden our consultation by launching a 30-day public consultation on this set of indicators, which are available in attachment both in English and Bahasa Indonesia versions.
The SAC would appreciate receiving your inputs via email to sustainability_april@aprilasia.com by 31 October 2017.
The SAC Secretariat will compile your contributions and present them to the SAC members for review.
